ConvertPixels is free for personal and commercial use without watermarks. We believe in accessible image conversion tools for everyone.
Service Description
ConvertPixels is a client-side web application that processes image files locally in your browser. The Service allows users to convert, resize, and format images without uploading files to external servers.
Key Limitations:
- Batch processing is limited to 20 files per session
- Maximum supported resolution: 10,000 pixels on the longest side
- Processing capabilities depend on your local hardware and browser
User Responsibilities
Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the images you process using ConvertPixels. You must ensure that you have the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to use and convert any images processed through our Service.
Prohibited Uses: You agree not to use ConvertPixels for:
- Processing illegal, copyrighted (without permission), or harmful content
- Attempting to reverse engineer or decompile the application
- Any activity that could disrupt or damage the Service
Data Safety & Backups
We are not liable for any data loss. Always keep backups of your original files. While ConvertPixels processes images locally, browser crashes, system failures, or user errors can result in data loss.
Before processing images with ConvertPixels, ensure you have maintained backup copies of your original files. The Service is not responsible for corrupted, lost, or damaged files resulting from the conversion process.
Performance & System Requirements
Processing 10,000px images requires significant system memory. Performance depends on your local hardware. ConvertPixels performs all operations in your browser, which means:
- Larger images require more RAM and processing power
- Older devices or browsers may have performance limitations
- Browser crashes may occur when processing extremely large files
- Available system memory directly impacts maximum file size capabilities
No Warranty for High-Resolution Processing: ConvertPixels provides no warranty against browser crashes, freezes, or system instability when processing high-resolution (up to 10K) files. Users assume all risk when processing large images.
Disclaimer of Warranties
ConvertPixels is provided "as-is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
- Any errors in the Service will be corrected
You expressly understand and agree that your use of ConvertPixels is at your sole risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ConvertPixels shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the Service
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
- Browser crashes, data loss, or system instability during image processing
